MeetingBroker |

Merchant Model |
A system by which IHG distributes hotel rooms to certified Online Travel Agencies (OTA's) at a (discounted) net price, allowing the OTA to add a mark up price to the room and sell to the consumer. The consumer, when purchasing, knows exactly what they are buying and at what price, although they do not know the net rate paid to the hotel. |

Metamediaries |
These companies specialise in meta-search but have started offering OTA models (i.e. TripAdvisor Instant Booking). They usually present more content within the initial search and they can either direct the consumer to other websites or they can have the guest book on their website directly. An example is Google Hotel Finder, where the guest can see multiple results at the same time, instead of visiting different websites. |
Mid Market Negotiated Rate |
This is an established rate for mid-market account customers (customers with unmanaged travel programmes that deliver volume business to multiple IHG hotels). The discounted rate is based on volume in multiple IHG properties. |
Mid Market Pricing Program |
A special pricing program offered to specific mid-market accounts. A hotel may choose to participate in any mid-market pricing program, but may not remove itself from a program without permission from IHG Global Sales. |
